Terms and Conditions

Range Pilates Studio, Montville — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Range Pilates Studio, Montville. These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of Pilates classes, private sessions and related services to you. By booking or attending any class or session, buying a package, or using our facilities, you agree to these Terms.

We follow the Queensland Fitness Industry Code of Practice and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the ACL.

1. Bookings & Attendance

  • Bookings are essential for Reformer and Classical Pilates classes and for private/semi‑private sessions.

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early. Late arrivals may be refused entry for safety and to avoid disrupting the class. If refused entry, standard cancellation/no‑show terms still apply.

  • We may request proof of identity for bookings and entry.

2. Health, Safety & Eligibility

  • You confirm you are physically fit to participate and will disclose any injury, condition, pregnancy or post‑partum status before class. We may request a medical clearance.

  • Follow all instructor directions, use equipment only as instructed, and notify us immediately of any discomfort or concerns during a session.

  • Grip socks are recommended/required (if required, we’ll notify you) for hygiene and safety. Bring a towel and water.

  • We may refuse participation if, in our reasonable opinion, it is unsafe for you or others.

3. Pregnancy Policy

  • Clients who are pregnant or post‑partum must notify us prior to booking and attending classes.

  • Participation may require a medical clearance and may be limited to specific classes or private sessions deemed safe by our instructors.

  • We reserve the right to decline participation in certain sessions if we believe there may be an increased risk to you or your baby.

  • Modifications will be provided where appropriate, but clients are responsible for listening to their bodies and following professional medical advice.

4. Age & Supervision

  • Participants must be 16+ years unless a parent/guardian provides written consent and we approve the booking. Under‑16s require prior written approval and may need 1:1 sessions.

5. Fees, Payments & Pricing

  • Current prices are displayed at the studio/website and may change from time to time. Price changes don’t affect packages already purchased (other than where permitted by law).

  • Payment is due upon booking. We accept the payment methods advertised at the time of purchase.

6. Packages, Passes & Expiry

  • 5‑Class Package: valid for 3 months (90 days) from date of purchase.

  • 10‑Class Package: valid for 6 months (180 days) from date of purchase.

  • Packages are for one named client only and cannot be shared, transferred or extended, except where we are required to do so by law or where we offer a written extension at our discretion.

  • Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period.

7. Cancellations, Reschedules & No‑Shows

  • We operate a strict 24‑hour cancellation policy for all group classes and private/semi‑private sessions.

  • You may cancel or reschedule your booking 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time via the designated booking system or by contacting us during business hours.

  • If you cancel within 24 hours, arrive late and are refused entry for safety, or do not attend, the session will be forfeited (charged in full or deducted from your package), with no credit, transfer or make‑up, except where required by law.

  • If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer a rebooking, credit, or refund in accordance with the ACL.

8. Refunds & Transfers

  • No refunds or transfers apply to packages or individual lessons once purchased, except where required by the ACL (e.g., where there is a major failure with the service).

  • For clarity: change of mind, change of personal circumstances, or failure to attend within the expiry period do not entitle you to a refund.

9. Class Changes & Studio Closures

  • Schedules, instructors, formats and class sizes may change. We may temporarily close due to maintenance, public holidays or events beyond our control. We will try to give reasonable notice and provide alternatives where practicable.

10. Conduct & Etiquette

  • Be respectful to staff and clients. No abusive, intimidating or disruptive behaviour.

  • Mobile phones should be on silent. No filming/photography during class without prior consent (see Section 12).

11. Personal Property

  • You are responsible for your belongings. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items brought into the studio, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Media Consent (Optional)

  • We occasionally capture photos/video in the studio for marketing. We will ask for your consent before using an image in which you are reasonably identifiable.

  • If you do not consent to your image being used, you must notify us in writing before or after any class in which filming/photography occurs.

  • You may withdraw consent at any time for future use.

13. Privacy

  • We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. We collect only what we need to manage bookings, deliver services and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information.

  • By providing health information, you consent to our handling of that information for class safety and programming. You can request access or correction by contacting us (see Section 17).

14. Gift Cards & Promotions

  • Gift cards, promo codes and trial offers are subject to the specific terms notified at purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash. Expiry dates apply.

15. COVID‑19 / Public Health Directions

  • You agree to follow any applicable public health advice or lawful directions in place at the time of your visit. If you are unwell, please do not attend.

16. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms to reflect operational or legal changes. The version in force when you make a booking applies to that booking. The current Terms will be available at the studio/website.
